I had the opportunity to be the Keynote Speaker and Project Judge for the CreatingSteam Progam developed by We Connect the Dots. I enjoyed a full-day of intelligent students showcasing their robotics projects after a 10-day learning experience.
ABOUT THE CREATINGSTEAM PROGRAM: JULY 6-10 & JULY 13-17, 2015
Throughout the 10-day experiential learning program students gain competencies in 21st century workforce skills and awareness of STEAM career opportunities for today and in the future. Competencies that are integrated into the 10 day experience are, the Value of Lifelong Learning, Problem Solving, Self-Management, Teamwork, Collaboration On- and Offline, Information Media and Technology Skills, ICT Learning, Knowledge construction, Leaderships, Life and Career Skills. The conference includes sessions for parents as well as the students. The age requirements are 13-18 years old.
